Budget your household straight from WhatsApp.
No app to download. No bank login. Just forward your till slips to FinKasi and we'll show you exactly what your household spends — and where you can save.
As easy as forwarding a photo
Photograph your grocery slip — or forward the PDF invoice or online payment confirmation — to FinKasi's WhatsApp number. Within seconds you'll get a reply telling you what you bought, what it cost, and what category it falls under. No forms, no typing, no new app to learn.
Every family member forwards from their own phone — it all lands in one shared household ledger.
See where your money actually goes
Every receipt your household forwards builds a real picture of your spending — by category, by store, by week and by month. Not what you assume you spend. What you actually spend. FinKasi flags the categories quietly growing month over month, so you catch price creep before it catches you.
Get a plain-language weekly or monthly summary — no spreadsheets, no dashboards to remember to open.

Questions people actually ask
Here's what to know before you send your first receipt.
Is this safe?
Yes. We only ever see what's printed on the receipts you choose to forward. We never see or store your full card number or your online banking password — the two most sensitive numbers on any slip are masked before they're ever saved.
Does it cost anything?
FinKasi is free to use while we're testing with households. When we introduce FinKasi Plus later, the everyday receipt-logging and monthly summary will stay free — Plus will add deeper savings and deal-finding features.
Do I need to link my bank account?
No. Unlike budgeting apps that need your online banking login to pull in transactions, FinKasi only ever sees what you choose to forward on WhatsApp. That's a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature.
What if everyone in my house just has WhatsApp, not a banking app?
That's exactly who FinKasi is built for. If you can send a photo on WhatsApp, you can use FinKasi — nothing else to install.
Which stores does it work with?
FinKasi is built and tested on South African and Zimbabwean retailers — Woolworths, Checkers, Spar, Shoprite, OK, Edgars, Total, Engen, Sasol and more — plus PDF invoices and online payment confirmations. If it's a receipt from a shop in South Africa or Zimbabwe, FinKasi can read it.
How is this different from an app like Vault22?
Apps like Vault22 ask you to link your bank accounts and open a dashboard. FinKasi asks for neither — you keep doing exactly what your household probably already does (forwarding receipts on WhatsApp), and we do the tracking behind the scenes.
What one week of receipts already showed
This is real spend from an actual household testing FinKasi — anonymised, but not invented.

FinKasi doesn't just log what you spend — it shows you where it concentrates, so you know exactly which two or three categories are worth a closer look.
No single retailer's loyalty app can show you this — each one only ever sees its own slice of your basket. FinKasi sees all of it, because you're the one forwarding the receipts.
This is what FinKasi found in its very first week with a real household. Forward your first receipt and see what it finds in yours.
